Event Sponsorship Grant Program

We are no longer accepting applications. Check back in April 2027 for the next round of funding. 

The Community Foundation of Greater Peterborough offers a limited number of sponsorships to arts organizations (charities) working to make Greater Peterborough a vital place to live for everyone.

This program supports events (shows, concerts, performances) and other public-facing activities, rather than general operating or project grants. We prioritize events that bring people together, reduce barriers to participation, and contribute to a vibrant, inclusive community.

Please note: This sponsorship is considered a grant. Your organization must be a qualified donee with a CRA charitable registration number.

The Events Sponsorship program does not financially support political or religious events or rallies, professional conventions or conferences, or fundraising efforts.

SPONSORSHIP AMOUNTS

Last year, Event Sponsorships ranged from $300 to $2,000. Please request what you need with those numbers in mind. (Note: need is typically greater than what we are able to offer).

Sponsoring multiple events

In order to provide sponsorships to a variety of different events, organizers hosting multiple events in a fiscal year will not receive more than one sponsorship from May 2026 to April 2027. It is therefore recommended that organizers planning multiple events apply once for all of their events.
