Giving Gala Peterborough – January 25, 2020

With the support of local philanthropists, the Community Foundation made its first grant in 2011. Since that time, more than $2.1 million has been granted to 100+ charities for projects that build community vitality. Focused on the long-term, the Foundation also manages a pool of long term and endowed funds. The investment earnings from this important community asset, valued at $10 million and growing, generate a sustainable stream of grants to enhance the quality of life in the City and County of Peterborough, now, and for generations to come.

The Community Foundation works to strengthen the charitable sector by connecting organizations with opportunities for learning, development and collaboration. And we promote community knowledge and dialogue around important needs, opportunities and trends, directing additional energy to priority issues in our community.
