The Helping Hands Fund was established by Peterborough residents, Janet and Ross Campbell. Janet was born and raised in Peterborough, and Janet and Ross returned to live and work due to their deep love of the city. Their investment in Peterborough has provided the opportunity for Ross and Janet to give back to the community, with the goal of ensuring every Peterborough resident has an opportunity to succeed.

To continue the Campbell family’s values, the Helping Hands Fund will provide grants for community organizations and projects that support people and places that need a hand up. The Campbell family is particularly interested in food security, housing security, and safe, affordable and inclusive recreational opportunities for people that have barriers to participation.
