Otonabee Conservation Fund

Otonabee Conservation Fund

The Otonabee Conservation Fund was established in 2018 when the Otonabee Conservation Authority Foundation wound up and its assets were endowed with the Community Foundation of Greater Peterborough. These assets came from bequests of friends and supporters of Otonabee Conservation’s work. Accordingly, the purpose of the Otonabee Conservation Fund is to support the legacy of conservation lands, provide recreational opportunities, and build an understanding of the value of the natural environment through enhanced experiential learning opportunities.

Annual grants to Otonabee Conservation will help create and install new trail and property signs, conduct necessary property maintenance, enhance and develop trails, and strengthen public safety at Otonabee Conservation’s many properties for years to come.
