Advancing Our Commitment to Reconciliation

The Community Foundation of Greater Peterborough established the Reconciliation Fund to support local responses to the Truth and Reconciliation Commission’s Calls to Action. Rooted in the belief that reconciliation must be community-led and culturally grounded, this Fund supports programs that promote Indigenous education, culture, and language.

The need is growing. Local Indigenous-led initiatives are calling for more sustained and flexible support. To meet that demand, we are inviting donors and partners to help grow the Reconciliation Fund, so we can continue responding to the urgent needs of today while building a lasting foundation for the future.
